Two heads are

better than one

Patterson Writing Consulting is a qualified joint venture between Tad Patterson and Kelly Winters, a married couple living in St. Paul, MN.

We launched Patterson Writing Consulting in early 2017 to promote a wider range of writing, research, project management, coaching, and storytelling services. Shortly thereafter we began receiving contracts with non-profit organizations that needed our expertise to write and manage grants, develop board development curriculum, conduct prospect research and align existing narrative with best practices research.

Though our areas of expertise are in youth-serving organizations and education, we have also worked with clients whose specialties lie in human services, environmental justice, sustainable agriculture, and economic advancement.

We are currently accepting new organizational clients only.
